Hello!
I'm Michele vanDoorn and I am one of the middle school English Language Arts teachers. I am thrilled to be teaching in the Bruce School District and I'm extremely excited about the up coming school year. I'm looking forward to getting to know the students and building many relationships this year! I have taught multiple grade levels in the past and my most recent was middle school science. I do love teaching ELA and I look forward to many book talks this up coming year.
I do have an open door policy - this means I welcome you to come in and see what we are doing. I believe that when teachers and parents work together the outcome will be successful students!!
I was born and raised here in northern Wisconsin and I LOVE the outdoors! I'm married to my wonderful husband, Jeff, and we have four children and two granddaughters. When I'm not in the class room you can find me fishing, hunting, or spending time at our cabin.
